Terms of Service

Last updated 6 September 2026

Draft pending legal review. This document describes how the service actually works, but operator details must be configured and the whole text reviewed by a qualified lawyer before it is relied upon.

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator identified in the Contact section, registered at an address pending verification (“we”, “us”), covering your use of Human In Circuit (the “Service”). By creating an account you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

2. Beta status

The Service is in beta. It is offered as-is, without a service level agreement, uptime commitment, or guaranteed support response time. We may change, suspend, or withdraw features during the beta. Do not use the Service for workflows where a delayed, missed, or lost review would cause material harm.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for the security of your credentials and API keys, and for everything done under your account. Accounts are for named people; do not share credentials. Tell us promptly at dsp+hic+support@dspsolves.com if you believe an account or key has been compromised.

4. Your content

You keep all rights in the data you send to the Service — the reviews your systems create, the values reviewers enter, and any files you attach (“Your Content”). You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content in order to operate the Service for you.

You are responsible for having the right to send Your Content to us, and for ensuring it does not contain anything you are not permitted to share with a processor. Do not send special-category personal data, payment card numbers, or government identifiers through review content.

5. Retention and deletion

Review content is retained according to the retention window of your plan, after which decided reviews and their attachments are deleted automatically. Retention windows are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice.

You may request deletion of your organisation from the admin area. Deletion is scheduled rather than immediate so that it can be reversed if requested in error. Backups are retained for a limited period after deletion and are then overwritten in the ordinary course.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • send malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or to another customer’s data;
  • probe, scan, or load-test the Service without our written permission;
  • point callbacks at systems you do not control or are not authorised to reach; or
  • resell or provide the Service to third parties except as a feature of your own product, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Plans, reviews, and payment

The invite-only beta is free and paid checkout is disabled. Beta accounts use the allowances shown in the product. We will publish and ask you to accept any paid terms before charging you. No beta allowance carries over into a future paid plan unless we say so in writing.

If paid service is enabled later, Lemon Squeezy will act as merchant of record. Checkout, renewal, cancellation, refunds, and plan limits will be disclosed at that time and tested before public purchase is enabled.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and to support it in good faith, but during beta we make no availability commitment. Support is provided atdsp+hic+support@dspsolves.com with a best-effort target of two business days. Support covers operating the Service and defects in it; it does not include building your workflows or debugging unrelated infrastructure.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your organisation at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, that is being used to harm the Service or other customers, or where required by law. Where we can do so safely, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem, and we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Service supports human decisions; it does not make them. You are responsible for the decisions your reviewers make and for what your systems do with them.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, or data; and our total liability in any twelve month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in that period. During the free beta, the maximum is the amount you paid for the Service, subject to any minimum liability that applicable law requires.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights we will give notice by email or in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction.
